This small bodied guitar was originally designed for a tailpiece and floating bridge type pf set up. A bit like a small bodied Selmer might have looked.

 The guitar body is quite wide for its length, which after a few experiments seemed to be the best way to get the distinctive loud and punchy tone with enough bass to round out the sound.

 It worked well, and is useful as an instrument that needs to be heard above other guitars or accompaniment.

 I have also made this design as a more standard pin bridge guitar . It has worked well for this as well and makes quite a sweet sounding small guitar.
