Ditson What I'm calling a Ditson here is actually the smallest ( No 1 size) of I think three models, made by the Martin guitar company for the Ditson chain of department stores in New York early in the 20th century. I was introduced to this beautiful design many years ago, and have always loved it. It is an extremely small guitar, and as such I don't often get asked for it, however I like to include it in my range. Dick Boak of Martin guitar very kindly supplied me some original
specifications, so I'm able to do a reasonably close copy of the original. Please note that I am unable to supply the 1-45 version of this guitar as I don't have any stocks of Brazilian rosewood.
